I recently finished my PhD. Currently helping to improve coding agents by pushing them beyond their limits and analysing their failures at SWE tasks.
Technical Interests
- Systems Programming: memory management, cache-friendly access patterns. Big C fan.
- Linux/Unix; lightweight, reusable, composable software.
- GPU and graphics programming.
Where I'm Working Now
While waiting for my PhD defence I started doing software engineering contract work for DataAnnotation, where I produce and closely analyse failures in LLMs to improve their performance. It's a lot of fun, so I've been doing it full-time for about a year now that I'm done with the PhD. Looking for more long-term work with a bit more room for growth.
